DINING ROOMS

Dining rooms are spaces of gathering, ritual, and conversation. Murals and sophisticated surface finishes can define their atmosphere—introducing visual depth, warmth, and a distinctive sense of place.

Each MIKRA surface is developed in relation to the room’s scale, lighting, furnishings, and material palette, allowing the artwork to enrich the dining experience without overwhelming it. The result is a composed interior where art, surface, and hospitality come together with intention.

Garden Loggia

A glass-roofed dining terrace transformed into an intimate courtyard.

The trompe-l’œil mural extends the covered al fresco dining area into a sequence of arches, garden steps, and flowering walls. Warm terracotta tones reinforce the Mediterranean mood, while the crystal chandelier introduces a refined counterpoint—bringing indoor elegance to an outdoor setting. Together, painted persp

Veranda Beyond

A tropical dining room designed to feel larger than its condominium footprint.

The mural creates the illusion of an open veranda overlooking dense foliage, visually extending the room beyond its walls. Warm coral finishes, dark timber furniture, parquet flooring, and a classical balustrade establish an intimate, collected mood. In a compact dining space, painted perspective adds dept

Pompeian Candelabra

A deep Pompeian-red dining-room corner articulated through illusionistic ornament.

The hand-painted quadraturismo is composed as vertical candelabra within framed wall panels, creating the impression of integrated architectural decoration. Warm ochre detailing, small still-life medallions, carved timber, patterned upholstery, and theatrical drapery build a richly coordinated Old

Tuscan Spatial Sequence

Paired murals define the dining and living zones within an open, split-level interior.

The upper dining area is framed by a panoramic landscape beneath painted arches, while the lower living room receives a more intimate garden vista. Repeated masonry curves, columns, and distant scenery connect both levels, using perspective and visual continuity to give each zone its own i

The Garden Capriccio

A romantic dining-room panorama inspired by European classical gardens.

Painted as an idealized garden scene, the mural combines arcades, statuary, clipped topiary, urns, and abundant florals in the tradition of the architectural capriccio. Soft atmospheric recession opens the wall beyond its physical limits, while the large floral urn creates a commanding foreground anchor. Th

Pagoda Reverie

A panoramic tropical landscape composed around symmetry, light, and vertical rhythm.

The pagoda establishes the mural’s central axis, balanced by paired crystal sconces whose tapered forms echo its ascending silhouette. Below, the dark timber sideboard creates a strong horizontal datum, grounding the dense foliage and reflective water. Together, furniture, lighting, and mural form a
